Line of Sight Photography

A Line of Sight (LOS) is an unobstructed line of sight for a beam link between telecom antennas. This line-of-sight connection is captured through long-distance photography. We take photos from the spot where the beam link is to be established to the locations in the area to which a connection can be established. This demonstrates whether or not there is a free line-of-sight connection.

Our team consists of professional photographers who also enjoy climbing in their spare time. Guaranteeing high quality photos and safe working at height.

Poles and roofs

We work in teams of two; one climber and one safety climber. Our photographers access roofs with antennas in order to photograph the LOS. The climber ascends the mast to photograph the LOS while the safety climber provides support in case of emergency. We are fully trained and qualified to work in extreme situations.

High voltage pylons

Our drones are technically equipped and have the relevant permissions to fly within a very close proximity of high voltage pylons in order to photograph the LOS accurately.

Events

We are able to survey temporary masts required at events with large numbers of visitors. Before the mast is erected, we use a drone to photograph the LOS. The masts are often in the middle of a field and with the drone we can get at the exact position.

Corporate market

If a business wants to connect directly to a wireless network we can photograph the LOS from their roof to check whether there is an available antenna in the area (we can also use the drone if necessary).
