Rope Access

Rope Access is performed in hard-to-reach places where an aerial work platform can only reach with difficulty or not at all, or where scaffolding is out of the question. Using climbing and abseiling techniques, we can get almost anywhere. Even in places you thought were inaccessible. Even in places you thought were inaccessible.

Our Rope Access staff are IRATA trained and have first aid certificates. They also have extensive practical experience in climbing and rescue techniques. They have the most professional equipment, which is carefully maintained.

Rope Acces has a lot of advantages:
Rope Access is safe
Independently certified rope access technicians are demonstrably safe at work, there are hardly any accidents. This is also explicable from the simple fact that they themselves hang in the lines and therefore do thorough preparation and only want to work with the best, safest and most efficient materials.

Rope Access is versatile
Rope Access techniques are used in a wide variety of environments, from small spaces to complicated steel installations or concrete structures. Unlike traditional access methods such as scaffolding and aerial work platforms, customised rope access solutions can be deployed to meet different applications quickly and inexpensively.

Rope Access is efficient
Systems are quickly installed and dismantled and often require fewer personnel than traditional access methods. Rapid deployment reduces disruption to facility operations by minimising downtime.

Rope Access is cost-effective
Fewer staff, faster completion, less equipment and minimal downtime mean lower costs.

Walibi 3 licht

NDT exam

The Goliath is a steel roller coaster at Walibi Holland amusement park in Biddinghuizen. With a height of 46.8 metres, it is difficult for the technical department to inspect the entire roller coaster with an aerial platform. Our Rope Access employees checked the hard-to-reach parts of the Goliath for welds and deformations.

Cleaning

The Feyenoord stadium in Rotterdam has many surveillance cameras that need cleaning. Using rope access, the hard-to-reach cameras are regularly cleaned.

Installations

For some places at height, they are difficult to reach and then Rope Access deployment is the only option. Sometimes, too, the costs of deploying scaffolding and aerial work platforms do not outweigh the benefits. Line of Sight uses Rope Access to install antennas in telecom masts or cameras on buildings, for example. This involves, among other things, the use of rope winches; special tools to easily and quickly hoist and hold the installation in place. This way, an installation can be carried out safely and cost-efficiently.

Dortmund

Telecom

An outage in the mobile network needs to be fixed quickly. Some sites are so difficult to reach that only a crane can be used to reach the antenna. Fortunately, Rope Access offers a quick and cheap alternative. No streets need to be blocked off and no need to wait for a crane to be set up. Our Rope Access staff can easily and safely operate and repair the fault.

Offshore

Offshore work is diverse and in many places rope access can serve to gain access to height or depth. For example, we carry out inspections of steel cables on board platforms.

Wind energy

Inspection, maintenance and repair of blades and turbines is frequently done using rope access. At great heights, it is a safe and efficient way to carry out work quickly.
